Robinson Seismic Ltd have led the way internationally in designing, manufacturing and testing specialist seismic isolation systems for structures. Also known as base isolation, Robinson have applied this technology to different structures such as multi-level apartment buildings, commercial buildings, hospitals, courts and bridges.

Company founder Dr Bill Robinson, invented and developed the now world renowned Lead Rubber Bearing. The Lead Rubber Bearing is the first seismic base isolation device in commercial use around the world, particularly in Japan, Turkey, South America and New Zealand.
