Hannah  Brackley

Platform Manager (Acting)

Dr Hannah Brackley has 8 years’ research experience in geological studies, particularly in the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island. In 2005 she joined GNS Science and took on business development and project management responsibilities for the Natural Hazards Division. In 2009 Hannah was appointed as Manager of the Tectonophysics Department at GNS Science, comprising around 25 staff with expertise in seismology, geophysics, geodesy, crustal geodynamics, hazard and risk assessment, and tsunami modelling. Since June 2014 she has been Manager of Policy and Strategy for the Natural Hazards Research Platform, a multi-party research consortium dedicated to increasing New Zealand's resilience to Natural Hazards via high quality collaborative research.
